Touchdown Cheesecake!!!

It’s Super Bowl time!!! This year, for our family Super Bowl party, my grand mom, sister, and I made a buttery, creamy cheesecake that melts in your mouth. I liked making the cheesecake, especially when we mashed the graham crackers to make the crust, that was fun!!

Recipe:
preheat oven to 3250

Crust:
2 cups graham crackers crushed
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons butter
Blend the above and line the bottom and sides of a form spring pan, 9 inch mold
Save about 2 Tablespoons for the topping (optional)

Filling:
1 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1/4 Teaspoon salt
2 large packages cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
1 8oz whipping cream

1. Separate eggs and beat egg whites until stiff… set aside in fridge
2. Sift together sugar,flour, salt into another bowl
3. Cream together cheese and egg yolks, and add the dry ingredients and whipping cream alternately in the large bowl
4. Stir until smooth and add vanilla
5. Fold the egg whites into the batter evenly
6. Pour into crumb lined mold
7. Top with remaining graham crackers (optional)
8. Bake at 325o for 1 (one) hour or until done… toothpick comes out clean, or bake 1 (one) hour and turn off oven, and let stay in oven until cooled
9. Chill before serving
10. Serve with your favorite topping(s)
